Thomas Kyd:

1558 -----> He was born in London

1565 -----> His entry into nearby respectable Merchant Taylor’s School in November

(1582-

1592)-----> The Spanish Tragedy, or Hieronimo is Mad Again

1588 -----> Kyd gave up writing plays to become a translator.

1591 -----> shared lodgings with fellow playwright Christopher Marlowe.

1593 ------> government authorities arrested Kyd on suspicion that he had taken part in some recent attacks on London's forcing craftsmen.

1593 -----> Kyd died in obscurity
